AGREEMENT made this ________day of  ___________________, 2024 , by and between the Guru Nanak Foundation of America, Inc., a nonprofit, religious and tax exempt organization (“GNFA”), (party of the first part), and ______________________________________,  legal Guardian and/or Parent (s) of ____________________________________________________     , student, (Party of the Second Part).

WITNESSETH:

        WHEREAS Guru Nanak Foundation of America, Inc. (“GNFA”), is a religious nonprofit tax-exempt organization.

        WHEREAS, GNFA is running Khalsa  School in Trailers, to impart religious and secular education for the children of the congregation at the premises of GNFA Temple, 12917 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring, Md. 2004, at a minimal cost;

        WHEREAS, the Second Party is desirous of voluntarily admitting their/his/her child in the Khalsa School having personally visited and are fully aware of the environment of the school premises.

            NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the mutual promises contained herein, and the acknowledgment of sufficient valuable consideration, the parties hereto intending legally to be bound, agree as follows:

            The Parties hereto understand and agree that GNFA Khalsa School is providing services to the Parent for educating his child in religious and secular education at a minimal fee compared to other private schools.

            The Second Party further understands and agrees that the GNFA Khalsa School has no incentive in admitting the child with a motive of making any profit.

            The Second Party is fully knowledgeable of the environments of the premises and the mental and physical health of his/her child.

            In the event of any incident during any and all activities related to the education of the child, the Parties hereto mutually remise, release and forever discharge each other of and from all and any manner of action or actions, cause and causes of action, suits trespasses, damages, claims, and demands, whatsoever, at law or in equity, that either of the Parties hereto ever had, now has, or hereafter can or shall have against the other Party hereto for, upon, or by reason of any matter, cause, or thing whatsoever, concerned with or arising out of the school activities.  In the event either Party violates the provisions of this Agreement, the non-violating Party shall be indemnified by the violating party for any and all costs and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred for enforcement of the provisions herein.

            The terms, conditions, and agreements herein contained, shall be binding upon the parties, may be legally enforced by and against the parties herein, their heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns.

            This contract represents the entire and integrated agreement between the parties hereto and they shall not be bound by any terms, conditions, or statements not herein contained.

            This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland.
